During the 50 years of existence, the Rieder Group gradually gained the reputation of being the leading innovator in the production of fiber reinforced concrete elements. Thanks to its excellent properties, Rieder concrete panels have been widely used both in architecture (for facade solutions), in the interior (as wall, ceiling and floor coverings), as well as in landscape architecture, the construction of urban outdoor furniture  and noise and airborne barriers.

With a special embossing process, glass fibers are incorporated into a concrete mold and a thin and light element is obtained, well designed, which at the same time maintains extremely high pressure, is resistant to all weather conditions and completely non-flammable. The plates are dyed in the production process and after that they pass a period of hardening lasting for 28 days.

Board Types

Fiber C (Fiber Concrete - panels for covering ventilated facades)

  • Composition: 90% concrete and 10% glass fiber reinforcement, pigments and additives for concrete
  • Standard panel dimensions (3,600-2,500 x 1,200 mm) and 13mm thickness
  • Available in 10 different colors and three surface finishes (Ferro, Ferro Light and Mat).
  • Products are compliant with EU environmental requirements
  • The panels have: IBO certificate, EN ISO 14001: 2004, ISO 9001
  • Fire resistance class A1
  • Own weight 26 - 32 kg / m2
  • Lifespan of the panel over 50 years

Rieder is dedicated to the continuous progress of its products and technology in line with green construction. This is reflected in the fact that the production of these panels releases 40% less greenhouse gases, than in the case of fiber cement and aluminum panels. Many projects that were derived and evaluated by LEED were rewarded thanks to the sustainable Fiber C facade.

Öko Skin (concrete joists for covering ventilated facades)

Attractive concrete joists are a good alternative to traditional wooden ones, with the advantage of saving on material maintenance because they do not require periodic color regeneration. Dimensions of the planks are 1,800 x 147 mm and 13mm thickness

  • Available in 10 standard colors
  • Lightweight with easy installation, they can be cut to the desired size on the spot.
  • Fixing to the substructure: Visible connection - screws / pop thread OR Hidden - with an adhesive system

They are absolutely non-flammable, making Rieder's, Öko Skin a safe alternative to wood paneling. The excellent formability of the material enables curved and other special forms of Fiber C panels, which throughout their intersection still retain a constant strength. The uniqueness of the element is achieved by a new mode of industrial production in which each obtained element varies by its surface and color.

Öko skin

  • LOW MAINTENANCE COSTS > Unlike wood coatings, which should be maintained at regular intervals, the Rieder board for wall coverings should not be sanded or painted. In case of damage, the individual boards are easy to replace.
  • HIGH FIRE RESISTANCE > The plates are absolutely refractory, the flammability class A1, non-flammable, and as such are a safe alternative to traditional wooden linings.
  • COLOR AND TEXTURE > Oko skin joists for wall coverings are painted with natural pigments and are available in 12 different colors. Natural, authentic colors of Oko skin joists fit into the environment and blend with nature. Surface of the Oko skin joists is sandblasted under a variable pressure that makes its surface alive.
  • FIXING SYSTEM > Oko skin can be fastened with screws or threads of the appropriate color to a wooden or aluminum substructure. Joists can be glued with the gluing system, for example, Sika Tac panel. From this year, we also offer a hidden fixing system.
